Become a member and support our efforts to collect, preserve and interpret the history of the Town of Aurora.  Membership benefits include unlimited admission to both the Millard Fillmore Presidential Site and the Elbert Hubbard Roycroft Museum.  You will also receive advance notice of upcoming events and programs as well as our newsletter, the Aurora Historical Courier.

The Aurora Historical Society is a private, tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization.  We are not a town agency and receive minimal financial support from public money. That's why your support is so crucial!

There are many ways you can help your Historical Society. Contributions are always welcome.  Donations are tax deductible.

To ensure that your bequest is properly delivered, contributions should be designated to the Aurora Historical Society, with a mailing address of P.O. VOLUNTEER...
If you are interested in volunteering at the Elbert Hubbard Roycroft Museum, the Millard Fillmore Presidential Site or in any other way, please contact the Aurora Historical Society office (716-652-4735) (email ahs1951@verizon.net) to become involved.

Volunteers are needed to:

  • be a guide at the museums
  • be a cashier in the gift shops
  • help the Master Gardeners at the Hubbard Museum
  • make craft items with the Abigails for the Christmas Sale
  • help with special events such as the Roycroft Summer Festival, annual picnic, Book Sale and Christmas Sale.
  • serve on committees
